What's more beautiful than a few days away from the monotony and frenzy dictated by work? Simple isn't it? A tour in West Sicily to discover traditions to see and taste!

Your " home " these days will be the Divino Hotel in Trapani. Giuseppe and Giovanna will open the doors of their hotel for you. The tour will be described to you and you will have an aperitif from welcome accompanied by a tasting of the 4 local wines combined with local products from their farm : the Agriturismo Vultaggio just 2.5km away, a place immersed in the green countryside of Trapani.

A tour on tradition cannot fail to include two of the most important wineries in the area as a stop . In fact during your second day you will be guests of the Florio Cellars, founded over 150 years ago and carried on with great dedication. You will visit the cellar and invariably, in their recently restored tasting room , you will taste their excellences.

The next stop will be the Barraco Cellars , where also here you will pay a visit with tasting . Nino Barraco follows step by step all the phases ranging from cultivation to bottling of his organic and biodynamic wines.

In the farmhouse, Nino , our agricultural cook , will hold a cooking -show on cous cous and will explain all the steps that lead to the creation of this dish.

Tradition and Cucchiara family go hand in hand. On the third day guided by Baldo you will visit the company and taste what is the only stretched curd cheese as well as a Slow Food Presidium.

Then it will be time to make your eyes rejoice by reaching Erice summit by cable car and doing so enjoying a breathtaking view . Walking through the streets of the village you will have the impression of having gone back in time .

Who among you has never heard of the salt pans ? Here, the fourth and last day of the tour will be dedicated to the white gold tradition of Western Sicily. In Nubia , you will visit the salt flats accompanied by the Culcasi family that walking among the tanks will tell you about the tradition of production of the salt .

The salt marshes of the lagoon in Marsala await you , headed by the Ettore Inversa mill that you will visit and framed by the island of Mothia that you will reach on board the landing stage.

Upon returning to the Agriturismo, the master pizza maker Ciccio using the flours of ancient Sicilian grains, will hold a cooking -show on bread and pizza , followed by a tasting of extra virgin olive oil , led by Giuseppe.
